Seasonal Flu Shots
MEA Benefits Trust works with Anthem and your local health care providers, or your school health services, to provide annual flu shot clinics.
Members can access Mollen's website to find a participating clinic in your local area by entering your zip code. Members can also go to any Wal-Mart, Hannaford, Shaw's, Rite-Aid and CVS that is holding a flu clinic, to receive your flu shot at no charge. Be sure to present your MEABT/Anthem insurance ID card as the vaccination is a covered benefit. For Medicare members be sure to use your Medicare card to obtain your vaccination at no cost as a covered benefit.
If you go to a non-participating clinic click here to obtain a claim form for reimbursement.
* Note - some physicians do charge an office visit co-pay when they administer the flu shot. However, most physicians hold flu shot clinics and do not charge a co-pay if you are just receiving your vaccination.
Call your doctor's office ahead to find out if your physician charges a co-pay. If your doctor does charge, remember you can go to the above web sites to find a location where your vaccination is covered without any co-pay.
