Medicare Advantage Educational Meeting
We are pleased to inform you that effective July 1, 2020, the Maine Education Association Benefits Trust (MEABT) will transition to a Group Medicare Advantage plan from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The plan name is Anthem Medicare Preferred (PPO) with Senior Rx Plus. This plan offers both medical and prescription drug coverage (Part D). The new Medicare Advantage plan will replace your current Group Companion Plan.
Due to Governor Mills' Stay Safe at Home Order, the MEA Benefits Trust has decided to postpone the Medicare Advantage educational meetings. Our top concern is safety for you and your family as well as the safety of our staff.
What you should expect next?
Starting in late May early June, you will receive your new Anthem Medicare Advantage Preferred (PPO) with Senior Rx Plus.
